Building
AI models, thinking and instructions
How models are chosen, and how to steer the builder.
Automatic model routing
Each step uses the model best suited to it: a reasoning model for planning, a strong coding model for writing code, and a fast model for small jobs such as summaries. If a provider is unavailable, the next suitable model takes over automatically.
Thinking depth (paid plans)
In Settings → AI you can give reasoning models more thinking time: Deep or Maximum. Builds take longer and use more credits, and hard problems get more careful solutions.
Custom instructions
Also in Settings → AI: standing instructions applied to every build, such as "Use Tailwind with a dark theme" or "Write tests with Vitest".
Custom agents (paid plans)
On the Agents page you can create your own agents: instructions, an optional preferred model and which extra tools they may use (running commands, deleting files). Pick an agent for a project from the Agent menu in the workspace header. Agents are private to you.
Community agents
On Agents → Community you'll find agents other builders shared. Read an agent's instructions and permissions first, then Add to my agents — you get your own copy, so later changes by its author never affect your projects. To share one of yours, use the share button on its card: everyone signed in can then read its name, description and instructions, so keep secrets out of them. Administrators can remove shared agents.
