Building

The workspace

Chat, code, live preview and terminal for each project.

Each project opens in a workspace with four areas:

  • Chat — ask for changes, see the plan and the task list, follow the build and read what was changed and tested. Use the microphone button to dictate (in browsers with speech recognition: Chrome, Edge, Safari).
  • Code — the file tree and an editor. You can edit files yourself; your edits are saved as a new version.
  • Preview — the running app, served from its own address and private to you: a copied preview link doesn't open for anyone else. Start or stop it any time; it also starts automatically after builds, and stops after a while without use. To try it on your phone, click the QR-code button and scan it with the phone's camera (the code works for a few minutes). Publish the app to share it.
  • Terminal — output of installs, builds, the dev server and the commands the AI runs. You can run commands too (npm, npx, node).

Reviewing and undoing changes

After a build, open N files changed → Review changes to see a diff of every file the AI touched. Undo puts a single file back the way it was before that build (files it created are removed); Undo all does it for every file. If you edited a file again after the build, you're asked before your later edits are replaced. Each undo is saved as a new version.

Versions

Every build and every manual save creates a version. Open History to compare or restore one — restoring creates a new version, so nothing is lost.

Long conversations

The AI rereads the recent part of a chat and keeps older messages as a summary, which it updates automatically as the chat grows. For a clean slate, start a New chat from the chat header: the new chat begins with a short summary of the old one, and earlier chats stay readable.
